Mr Toro has over 19 years experience in leading international teams advising Governments, Industries and International Financing Institutions and Donors on Green Hydrogen and Decarbonisation.

He and his teams has directly advised the Federal Ministry for Economics and Climate Change in Germany (H2Brasil and H2Uppp),
The GIZ, The Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy on Hydrogen and the Colombian, Peruvian and Mexican Ministries of Mines and Energy. Moreover, several Industries in Brazil, Germany and Europe on decarbonisation and Multiple benefits of Energy Efficiency and The World Bank, BNDES and KFW on Green hydrogen and Energy Efficiency.

He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, an MBA in resources and sustainable energy technologies and a PhD in Energy Economics and Policy from Germany especially for Innovations like Hydrogen, Renewables and Energy Efficiency.

This session will explore the economics of green hydrogen and give an overview of the global market for this new commodity.
