Solar Energy in Brazil: Which are the Barriers and Opportunities for Women Professionals in the Field?

Free Webinar

Thursday, June 10, 2021 | 4pm CET/11am BRT | Webinar Language: Portuguese

Did you know that only one-third of professionals in the solar industry in Brazil are women? Despite this fact, women tend to have a higher level of education than men working in the sector. To shed light on these questions, the Brazilian Network of Women in Solar Energy (MESol Network) launches the unprecedented study "Solar Energy in Brazil: which are the barriers and opportunities for women professionals in the sector?", with support from the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rio de Janeiro (AHK Rio), the C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF), and the German Cooperation (GIZ). In this webinar, we will explore the results and findings of the study with presentations by two of the report's authors, Kathlen Schneider and Natália Chaves, both from MESol Network, and João Fávaro, project supervisor representing GIZ.

Moderation
