Electrical Engineer, with a master's and doctorate in Electrical Power Systems from UFSC and an MBA in Business Administration from PUC-Rio. He has worked for 26 years at the National Electric System Operator (ONS), in the Planning Department (DPL).He is currently the Southern Region Engineering Manager, responsible for coordinating engineering studies related to the integration of transmission and generation projects in the Southern region. It has also been involved in reviewing technical requirements for connecting existing equipment and defining requirements for integrating new technologies into the National Interconnected System (SIN), including BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), reversible power plants, green hydrogen plants, and large-scale data centers.
